Stop Smoking Programme

£155 - programme consisting of cognitive therapy and hypnosis - one to one - no groups - no catches - just proven methods

Stop Smoking Programme

If you smoke and you have been thinking about stopping, when do you plan to do it? Will it be this week, next week, next month, next year? Or do you hope it's going to go away on its own? Well, it won't, so stop promising yourself you'll stop soon, because it will not happen by accident. You have to have a strategy to stop – and to do that, you need help from an expert.

I have a highly individual and personal (no group work) approach that takes into account the whole issue of smoking and why people do it. In my programme, we look at every aspect of what smoking means to the smoker, and reframe the whole experience into a new perspective using cognitive therapy and hypnosis. It is a psychological approach to stopping smoking that can stay with you for months or even years into the future. Hypnotic suggestions don't last forever, but once you have been to my programme, you will almost certainly feel different about smoking – and this is the key to lasting success.

This programme includes Hypnosis but is more than Hypnosis

As outlined, my approach is via Cognitive Therapy followed by a hypnosis session to reaffirm all those new beliefs. You get the best of both worlds. Believe me, this approach is extremely effective and very thorough - the whole programme takes around 3 hours or so. It is as though for years you have fooled and kidded yourself that smoking was helping you in some way and of course, that's one of the reasons you have carried on doing it. The perceived 'fear of loss' and 'fear of the fear of stopping' will have been major factors in ensuring that the smoking problem has continued, despite all the major health risks and high cost of smoking.

Roughly 50% of my clients come from recommendations; some 'off the record' from doctors, but mainly past clients. I can't force you stop smoking, but I can help you if you truly want to get free.

Hypnosis isn't magic and you are paying for my time, knowledge and experience. The results will come from your own understanding and application of what you have learned. Quitting can be easy and fun when you know how! There is no doubt that if you understand and follow the plan to the letter, you will stop smoking.

Fees

My fee is £155 for a weekday booking and £175 for a Saturday morning. That's a fraction of the price of what some people demand, and my programme is around 3 to 4 hours because of the thoroughness.

If 2 people who know each other want to come at the same time and share the session, then the fee is discounted to £135 each (£155 on a Saturday) – the equivalent to probably around a month's supply of cigarettes, and money which will soon be recovered.

I have people come to see me from as far away as Chester, Liverpool, South Wales, London and – more recently – Greece, and I hardly advertise. I don't need to – people do it for me by word of mouth.

Money-Back Guarantee

I have been asked many times if I offer a money-back guarantee, the same as one or two other stop smoking clinics. Well I could, but my cost would then have to be similar to theirs, and this can be around £250 (one clinic I know charges £900 for a one-on-one session); or alternatively do impersonal group sessions of around 20 people at a time.

Also, if you look closely at the terms and conditions that you have to meet to get your money back at other clinics, you may see that you have to jump through many hoops within certain tight timescales and possibly also take a carbon monoxide test. You could find yourself going another 3 or 4 times to the same place to let them try other techniques on you, and failing to go to any one of these appointments – or even being 15 minutes late – invalidates the money-back guarantee. Not such a good deal after all! This can lead to bad will, ill-feeling and you losing a large chunk of money.

I prefer to be honest and up front with people - no small print. I charge £155 for a weekday, £175 for a Saturday morning. All sessions are one-to-one. Nothing more, nothing less. No catches. The programme takes around 3 to 4 hours. Approximately half of my clients come from personal recommendation. There is a free back-up session if required, but last year only 5.8% of my clients required this.

Look at what some past clients are saying (click on the letter):

Sarah - 11 months after she quit smoking

Really changed her life and saved her job

Leena - 5 weeks after attending

Not feeling like a leper anymore!

Kay stoped smoking after seeing me and so did her sister

" ... I am writing to just say a big THANK YOU for all your help in stopping me from smoking. It has changed my life completely as I don't feel like a leper any more. I have joined a gym and after 33 years of smoking am getting myself fitter. I have tried every other way and have never stopped. My sister also came to see you and she can't believe she has now stopped for 5 weeks...." – Kay C., Sheldon, Birmingham

"Just to let you know that it has been 4 months now since I quit. I couldn't have done it without your help. Although I get the odd craving I am able to overcome them. I am overjoyed to think that I was a 20 a day smoker for 25 years. Thank you." – Veronica D., Great Barr

“I can't believe it! I was smoking 25 a day. Now I feel 10 times better and enjoying the extra money too. I have recommended you to 2 friends and just earned myself £40 too!" – Pete G., Tile Cross, Birmingham

"Thank you for your help in helping me stop smoking." – Sandra H. Great Barr, Birmingham

"Can I come and see you - my friend came and she stopped with no problem. I never thought she would." – Denise L., Chelmsley Wood

"....Thank you for helping me to stop smoking. Since stopping I feel so much better in myself and don't get stressed out like I used to. I feel healthier too. Thank you." – Theresa M.

"You helped my daughter, can you help me? I can't believe how easy she has done it - she's not moped around or been miserable about quitting, in fact she's quite the opposite - whatever you did to her - do it to me as I've been desperate to quit for years!" – Linda M.

“I just never though of it like this before, it's a whole different approach to quitting." – Rob, Balsall Common

“I feel great. I can't believe how you have helped me see things differently. I have never thought about smoking in this way before." – Pam S., Harborne, Birmingham

“I smoked for 30 years up to 30 cigarettes a day...It’s been 6 months now and I have not smoked or even craved a cigarette...I have recommended 3 friends and earned £60 by way of referral fees plus I have saved nearly £1,300 now in stopping wasting money on cigarettes. It has worked really well for me!” – Jenny K., Great Barr

“My friend, Veronica recommended you. She knows 5 people who have been to see you and they have all stopped smoking”. – Sarah T., Erdington

“Jo recommended you to me. I couldn’t believe it when she stopped. All my friends have now stopped and I thought it was time I did too – when can you see me and my mum?” – Emma S., Sutton Coldfield

“I was smoking 40 a day, I am 52. Now I don't even want one even when I am out with my friends.” – Les M., Acocks Green.

According to New Scientist, hypnosis is the most effective way to stop smoking (up to 6 times more successful than patches); combine this with what I do and the effect can be amazing. If you are going to use hypnosis to help you stop smoking, forget all about those so-called (but well-meaning) hypnotherapists, saying it only takes an hour and who want to charge you around £250!  To do it properly and permanently takes about 3 hours - I know because I've found what works for most people and what doesn't.

Let me show you just how easy it can be when you put your mind to it. Never again will you have to think "I wish I could give up smoking". Come and do it properly and use your own mind purposely to help you. Soon you’ll no longer have to beat yourself up for putting those things in your mouth and setting light to them - you can be free forever if you approach quitting in the correct manner.

A typical twenty-a-day smoker will spend something like £20,000 in continuing to smoke over a 10-year period. You could stop smoking right now for just a modest £155 and an investment of half a day of your time. That’s not bad when you consider you’ll be saving not only £20,000 in the next 10 years, but maybe even your life, too.

Obviously, results vary between individuals, due to a variation of factors out of our control – but we believe that you can be helped to stop smoking (if you really want to be helped) in just one single session. You are given a Lifetime Guarantee that says that if, in the future, you want to come back because you had an urge to smoke, then I will give you another session absolutely free. It is not often that this is ever needed due to my approach. Who else is able to offer you this sort of support or guarantee? I know of just 2 or 3 local people who do this and they charge around £250 for a one hour session –less than half of the time I spend with you.
